Cooked up a recap of The Strokes at Flushing Meadows Corona Park 10.2.26 — what a night. 

@thestrokes delivered, with @tvontheradio, @beaccchhoussse and @fcukers setting the tone. The whole crowd (40,000 ppl) were buzzing, clearly everyone had a good time.

My son in Alaska put me on to this concert. He couldn’t make it, my nephew and I did — and the rest is history.

Well done by @bowerypresents, @functionofgravity, @nycparks, NYPD and everyone behind the scenes. Vendors, layout, transit, crowd control, sound, visuals — all on point.

83° degrees in October, live music in Queens — aka The World’s Borough — and one of those nights that reminds you why New York City rocks.

And yes, there’s some fresh bragging rights: World Population Review’s 2026 “Best Cities in the World” ranking has New York at #1, with the ranking page updated September 25. Oxford Economics’ 2026 Global Cities Index also placed New York at the top among 1,000 cities worldwide.
