The number of humans in romantic relationships with AI is so much higher than I thought.

1 in 5 of US adults have had romantic conversations with AI.

20% already 😳 

Now I knew this was coming, but I had absolutely no idea how many AI human relationships were actually going on.

And if you look at the Google search data, it makes sense.

AI boyfriend, AI girlfriend, AI relationships, they’re all off the charts.

And the craziest part is when you listen to how the humans describe their behavior change since getting in these relationships.

10-12 hour chat sessions. Full blown emotional addictions.

They’re even running couples therapy retreats where the humans and AIs all sit around the table together.

This is the biggest human social trend in the world right now, and it is only getting started.

To be honest, I don’t really know how to gauge it.

On one hand, it sounds kinda weird to envision a friends trip in the mountains where half the attendees are digital avatars

But on the other hand, look at the chart for human loneliness and it makes complete sense why people are getting so addicted.

Either way, one thing is for sure true, these AI companion companies are absolutely printing money.
