This day in #KISSTORY 🔥 October 9-10, 1975: KISS entered Cadillac for a full-blown KISS takeover!

It started with a locker room playlist. A high school assistant football coach blasted KISS to turn up the team’s fighting spirit, a letter found its way to the band’s management, and 51 years ago today, a small town in Michigan became the center of the rock ’n’ roll universe as KISS took the streets of Cadillac.

KISS played a homecoming show in the Cadillac High School gym, with 2,000 painted faces in the crowd. Mitchell Street became “KISS Boulevard,” the band was handed the Key to the City, and they left by helicopter, dropping leaflets reading “Cadillac High – KISS Loves You.”
