Several years ago, Rob Preece, a long-time marathon runner, developed a soreness in his leg that wasn’t going away. Eventually, a lump appeared in the same spot. A biopsy revealed something he never could have expected: a rare and aggressive form of sarcoma called UPS. 

His doctor told him about an international clinical trial funded by #StandUpToCancer that was enrolling people with his type of sarcoma. Thanks to this breakthrough trial and immunotherapy treatment, Rob remains cancer-free more than 2 years later and is enjoying life, including frequent outings with his granddaughter to get ice cream. “This trial was life saving for me.” ❤️
