Today it was announced that uw_wsoccer's Maya Loudd was named the Big Ten’s Defensive Player of the Week.

Loudd becomes UW’s second DPOTW honoree of the season, joining fellow outside back Maylen Montoya.

The Tualatin, Oregon, native played a pivotal role in locking down the USC offense for the entirety of Washington’s 1-0 victory on Saturday, the eighth clean sheet in 12 matches for the Huskies.
