After 10+ years of freelancing, a lot more has changed than just my photography style 📸 @xero

There’s a lot that goes into my shoots before I get on location. Between studio rentals, gear, backdrops, supplies, subscriptions, and paying the people involved, I’ve had to get better at staying on top of it all

I use Xero, an accounting and financial management platform for small businesses, to keep track of those expenses in one place, get a better sense of what I have to work with, and make it easier to plan what I want to create next

Learning how to manage everything behind my photography has been a big part of how I’ve been able to keep growing and doing this full time
