Sometimes you can’t change a pattern until you can see the pattern.

The way you think influences how you speak.

How you speak influences how you show up.

And how you repeatedly show up can shape the results you create.

But some of those patterns can become so familiar that you don’t even notice them anymore.

A reaction.

An assumption.

Something you repeatedly tell yourself.

A phrase you use without thinking.

A behavior you automatically fall back on.

From the inside, it might not even feel like a pattern.

It might just feel like you.

That’s one reason outside perspective can be so valuable.

Sometimes another person can notice something in the way you’re thinking, speaking, or responding that you’ve been too close to recognize yourself.

And once you can see it, you have something powerful:

A choice.

Do I want to keep responding this way?

Is this belief still serving me?

Is this behavior helping me become the person I want to be?

What could I intentionally choose instead?

You can’t consciously change everything you haven’t learned to recognize.

Awareness creates the opportunity for intentional change.
