Hurricane Isaias is following a track somewhat similar to Hurricane Michael—but meteorologist Andrew Wulfeck says that’s where the similarities largely end.

Michael was a rapidly strengthening Category 5 hurricane when it hit near Panama City in 2018. Isaias is expected to weaken as it approaches land.

“This is not a Michael scenario,” Wulfeck says.
