## Caption

While driving along the east coast near Höfn, Shelby and I caught sight of a stunning silhouette—a horse gracefully walking along a ridgeline. The scene was so striking and inspiring that we couldn’t help but pull over to take in the moment.

Icelandic horses, with their thick coats and sturdy frames, are perfectly adapted to the island’s rugged landscapes. Their unique gait, the tölt, carries them gracefully across lava fields and meadows. With their curious eyes and gentle demeanor, they embody both strength and charm. These horses are more than a breed—they are a living symbol of Iceland’s untamed spirit.
