We found France… in North America 😱🇫🇷 Just off the coast of Canada lie the islands of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, a tiny piece of France that most people have never heard of. We came here wanting to understand why France still has land in North America, who the people are that call these islands home, and how this tiny place became connected to one of America’s most notorious crime bosses, Al Capone. What started as a question about a forgotten piece of France became a much bigger story about history, identity, and belonging. This is just a glimpse of what we found.
