Border Patrol agents made a shocking discovery during a traffic stop in Yuma after finding a man inside the trunk of a car during extreme Arizona heat. 😳

Body camera footage shows agents asking the driver to open the trunk before discovering the man inside. Officials said he had no water, no ventilation and no way to get himself out while temperatures outside were around 110°F.

The driver, a U.S. citizen, was charged with human smuggling. The man found inside received medical attention before being taken into custody and processed for deportation.

Yuma Fire officials have warned that temperatures inside a closed vehicle can climb far beyond the outside temperature, making conditions like these dangerous within minutes.

Could you imagine being trapped inside a trunk in 110° Arizona heat? 😳
