Arizona is getting closer to finishing a $106 MILLION freeway project designed to make the drive between Phoenix and Las Vegas smoother 🚗🎰

ADOT says the new I-40/US 93 interchange in Kingman is now about 80% complete. Instead of drivers having to stop at the traffic light at Beale Street, new ramps will eventually allow traffic to flow directly between I-40 and US 93. 

A new 239-foot tunnel opened in September, while crews continue paving the new ramps and working on the massive flyover that will connect southbound US 93 to eastbound I-40. The full project is expected to open in 2027.
