Less than two minutes barefoot on Arizona pavement left a Tempe man with second-degree burns on both feet. 😳☀️

Brandon Puglisi ran outside without shoes after his dog, Linda, accidentally got out. He crossed the street to get her, but by the time he made it back, the damage had already been done.

Puglisi suffered second-degree burns on both feet, required multiple hospital visits, couldn’t drive and had to keep his feet wrapped for 23 hours a day. Thankfully, Linda was found unharmed. 🐶

Arizona pavement can get significantly hotter than the air temperature, making serious contact burns possible in a matter of minutes during extreme summer heat.

Be honest… have you ever tried running barefoot to the mailbox or taking the trash out during an Arizona summer? 😭🔥
