The peak of fall will arrive soon to Gatineau Park and you won’t want to miss it! 🍂🍁

Want to visit the amazing spots while avoiding all the traffic, and parking hassles?

Take the NCC free shuttle! 🚌
It’s the best way to enjoy the magnificence of Gatineau Park on autumn weekends without worrying about driving or finding parking. And the best part? It’s FREE!

Here’s how to do it from Ottawa 👇

📍 Where to board in Ottawa:
The shuttle leaves from Pīndigen Park, across from the Canadian War Museum, near Pimisi O-Train Station. Pimisi is only about a 350-metre walk away.

🚌 Other stops along the way:
Canadian Museum of History
Montcalm
South Entrance (P3)
Pink Lake
Mackenzie King Estate
Lauriault/Mulvihill
King Mountain
Champlain Lookout
Camp Fortune
Gatineau Park Visitor Centre

⏰ From Ottawa:
The first shuttle leaves Pīndigen Park at 9:10am, then runs every 30 minutes. The last departure from Ottawa is 3:10pm.

🌲 Coming back to Ottawa:
The shuttle leaves the Visitor Centre starting at 9:45am, with the last departure at 4:45pm, arriving at Pīndigen Park around 6:05pm.

🍁 A few things to know:
• The shuttle runs six days a week, except Wednesdays, until October 25.

🚨From Ottawa: Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only.
Within Gatineau Park: Service is available six days a week, except Wednesdays.

• There are no reservations, it’s first come, first served and seating is limited.
• During peak fall season, the NCC is adding additional buses to increase capacity.
• Bike racks are available, but space is first come, first served.
• Bring water and comfortable shoes, especially if you’re planning to hike.
• Don’t miss the last shuttle! If you do, you’re responsible for finding your own way out of the park.

And if you’re going for the fall colours, my picks would be Pink Lake, King Mountain and Champlain Lookout. 🍂😍

This is such a good way to experience Gatineau Park without the fall traffic headache!

Save this post for your next autumn adventure! 🍁🚌
