Because honestly, I’d die without them. Well, not totally, but my style would. When I picked up my camera and committed to a lifetime of creating art that captured the light around it, Tiffen was the one I chose to help me achieve that. I haven’t taken my Pro-Mist off my lenses for going on 4 years now. They help me achieve the glow and warmth necessary in telling my unique story without failure. So when I was asked to test out their new filter, the Dark Contrast, I was all over it.

𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭:
- Reduces highlights and bright areas while keeping shadow details.
- Maintains resolution and prevents color changes.
- Mutes colors and darkens highlights for subtle or bold monochromatic effects, depending on strength.
- Creates a sense of darkness while letting viewers see in the dark.
- Offers eight gradual strength settings.
- Made from high-quality optical glass for durability and consistency.
- Heavier options can mimic nightfall, perfect for day-for-night compositions.

𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐏𝐫𝐨-𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭:
-Reduces highlights and lowers glare
-Soften wrinkles and blemishes while maintaining skin tone values
-Takes the edge off modern digital cameras
-Creates a soft quality of light and pastel effect
-Uses Tiffen’s ColorCore® process to protect the filter effect between two pieces of glass

** BOTH HAVE 10 YEAR WARRANTIES **

I’m hoping to use these filters on a variation of lighting conditions and hope to put out a short film within the next few months using them.
