𝕚𝕤𝕟’𝕥 𝕚𝕥 𝕔𝕠𝕠𝕝 𝕙𝕠𝕨 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕦𝕞𝕞𝕖𝕣 𝕗𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕤?

I can’t even begin to express how thankful I am to all of these beautiful humans for their patience and for allowing me to be creative and express my feelings and thoughts through my art. I don’t normally get the opportunity to experiment to this level with my editing style/technique like I was able to for this. I had so much fun running through Heritage Park, chasing the last bit of life with these lovely people. Each and every one of my models did such an incredible job understanding my vision. funkytinamakeup did such an incredible job with the makeup as always. With the last-minute changes, she was still able to match my vision perfectly. I’m so grateful for the new friends I met and for having a moment of creative expression as I push through the rest of my galleries. 

This project’s original vision was to represent grounding yourself in a world where it may feel hard to. The colorful jackets represent the pressures of having to stand out in a society to make a name for yourself, but the white/minimal underclothing represents the simplicity of staying pure to who you are. The bare feet represent the importance of grounding yourself in your environment to better help understand your goals and personal needs for self-preservation. At this point in my creative journey, this message is important for me to convey to both my audience and myself. It’s hard for me to stay true to my own vision and personal goals when I feel like I’m being pressured in many aspects of life. This represents the importance of taking creative breaks to enjoy the beauties of life and to ground myself in reality. Thank you for allowing me the time to do so.
