🎥 #FosterFriday Cam: Stealing hearts, healing, and big smiles every day. 🐾
This happy pup is 3 years old and is an American Pit Bull mix. When Buggy transferred into our care last week, our veterinary team noticed thinning hair and a few bald spots.

Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes are commonly predisposed to allergies, including skin allergies. Acting right away, our staff started him on allergy medication and a prescription diet. It's likely that Buggy will need ongoing allergy management in the future.

Our wonderful Foster Coordinator matched him with an amazing foster family so we can continue monitoring his allergies while he prepares to find his forever home.

So far, we've learned that Buggy is incredibly people oriented. He loves making new friends and is always ready for cuddles. Buggy has also met a few dog friends and is eager to befriend them right away.

While Buggy isn't currently available for adoption, he hopes to be soon! 🧡

Sometimes fostering doesn't mean caring for young puppies and kittens. Sometimes, it means opening your home to animals like Buggy who need a comfortable place to heal, socialize, and build confidence.
