#WalkWithMe - The Lord invites us to walk with Him through a covenant relationship. I am so grateful for that invitation and strive each day to walk with Him. Yet I fall short often, and I am equally grateful for the gift of daily repentance that allows me to continue that walk.

If Jesus Christ were among us today and invited us to walk beside Him, I believe we would find ourselves visiting the sick, clothing the naked, and feeding the hungry. If we would do that then, then why not now?

Thursday evening I had the opportunity to share this message and some of my feelings about our opportunity through Operation Conquer Hunger to “walk with Him” as we feed those in need.

Around 150 young men stood shoulder to shoulder as disciples of Jesus Christ, desirous to walk with Him. Together they packed 10,000 meals for individuals and families facing hunger right in their own communities.

Paul taught, “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers” (1 Timothy 4:12).

I do not despise these youth. I admire them and I believe in them! They have a gift and they are an incredible gift to this world.

They are examples of the believers. They are beloved sons of Heavenly Father. They have a great work to do, and they are already doing it. They are doing it so well. They are good!

I left that evening filled with hope and excitement for the future. They are the rising generation and they rise high because they lift as they go.

What a blessing it is to walk with Him by serving His children. This is #howWEconquer

Thank you to my amazing friends bakcoubryan and terichild for inviting me to be part of such a special young men’s camp. Jenna and I love you both.
