Spiritual Thought!!

My sister Hallie sent me this quote not long ago and I read it again this week!!

“The Lord placed you here now because He knew you had the capacity to negotiate the complexities of these latter days. He knew you would grasp the grandeur of His work and be eager to help bring it to pass. I am not saying that the days ahead will be easy, but I promise you that the future will be glorious for those who are prepared and who continue to prepare to be instruments in the Lord’s hands.” President Russell M. Nelson

I think about my mission a lot when I read this. Some days are really hard, but I’m reminded that God placed me here right now for a reason. This time is shaping me into the person I need to become, the future wife, mom, and disciple of Jesus Christ I’m striving to be. More importantly it’s helping me and preparing me to be able to live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again.

But I believe this is true for all of us, not just missionaries. God placed you in the latter days for a reason because He trusts you. He knew what you were capable of long before you got here. So when life feels heavy, let those moments build your faith and prepare you. The days might not get easier right away, but I’m so grateful for His promise that the outcome will be glorious.

I’m grateful for my mission, even for the hard parts, because I know it will be worth it. I love Jesus Christ, and I love being His representative. He is the way, the truth, and the life. His life brings me so much joy!!💛

Grateful for every single one of you:)
