It intrigues me, because I feel it is the chapter theme for our work with Operation Conquer Hunger. Some of our life is spent feeding His sheep, seeking to meet physical needs with real compassion and real effort. That desire is sincere. But even greater is my desire to be fed by Him and to help others be fed by the bread that brings life eternal. John 6 is the chapter where Jesus feeds thousands with loaves and fishes. A miracle of compassion. A miracle of abundance. He allows us to be part of the miracle. But what strikes me most is that He did not stop with physical bread. He used hunger, something every soul understands, to point us to something far greater. They came because they were filled. They returned because they were hungry again. And in that moment Jesus lifted their hearts higher and said: Labour not for the meat that perishes, but for that which endureth unto everlasting life. He met their physical need to teach an eternal truth. Earthly bread satisfies for a moment, but there is a Bread that satisfies forever. “I am the bread of life. He that cometh to me shall never hunger.” He fills the stomach, yes. But more importantly, He fills the soul. He feeds us hope when we are empty, peace when we are anxious, strength when we are weak, and grace when we fall short. He is the One who nourishes us for eternity. He is the life that never runs out. He is the bread that never fails. Today, my prayer and challenge is simple. To seek the bread that lasts. To hunger for Him. To choose Him above every temporary thing the world offers. Because when we feast on Christ, we do not walk away hungry. We walk with Him whole. #JesusChrist #BreadOfLife #Faith #TimeAndAttention #ConquerMore #KeepConquering #ConquerHunger ## Stats - **Views:** 0 - **Likes:** 70 - **Shares:** 0 - **Comments:** 3 ## Tags jesuschrist, conquerhunger, faith, conquermore, keepconquering, breadoflife, timeandattention --- Copyright (c) Gondola
