“He is Joy”

As I reflected on what I should share this last week I just kept thinking about how much joy I’ve felt here on the mission. I’ve experienced trials and difficulties but I’ve never been so happy. As I’ve come to know my Savior and learn that He knows me I’ve learned that true, everlasting Joy comes through Him. He is Joy! I’ve seen lives change including my own as this joy has been felt and as Jesus Christ has become the focus and priority. It’s a kind or happiness that makes life valuable and has made me want to continue to live for Him and continue to share about Him with everyone I come in contact with. I’ve been able to share slap bracelets that say “alegria”(joy) and my favorite thing is seeing the smiles and happiness when people receive the bracelt. We love to joke saying we are slapping joy on everyone we talk to. Everyday we should try to slap people with Joy as we talk of Christ, preach of Christ and rejoice in Christ! As we do so we will see smiles light up their faces and their lives light up with joy! I’m so grateful for the experiences I’ve had and I’m having here. Jesus Christ has been my strength, my why and my Joy. I love Him and know He lives!
