One of my favorite scriptures recently has been d&c 68: 5-6 “Behold, this is the promise of the Lord unto you, O ye my servants. Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you; and ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ, that I am the Son of the living God, that I was, that I am, and that I am to come.”

I reflected on this scripture as I visited my very first area this past week. I remember how hard the mission was in the beginning not understanding or speaking the language, being far from family, learning how to teach and all the other struggles included. But as I walked the same streets I did at the beginning of the mission and visited the same people I was amazed to see how I’ve been able to grow and how the Lord truly has been by my side every step of the way. Through Him, my fears and weaknesses passed and I’ve been able to grow and truly come to know who He is. As we trust in Him and choose faith, we have no need to fear!

Love and miss you all! Until next week🫡
