I was blessed this morning to meet with this incredible young man who is about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime.

A few days ago, I received a message on IG from Connor letting me know he would be departing on his mission to Mexico and was wondering if we could chat about the mission experience. He came this morning with his mom, and it was obvious he’s been raised by great parents. He came prepared for our meeting, with thoughtful questions and a sincere desire to focus fully on Jesus Christ, losing himself in the work and helping others come to know the Savior.

What a blessing it was for me to spend time with someone who is choosing to devote his time and attention to the Lord. The spirit of love and missionary work we felt was powerful and real. This is truly the greatest work and those who accept the call to serve receive this incredible promise:

“Greater blessings and more happiness than you have yet experienced await you as you humbly and prayerfully serve the Lord in this labor of love among His children”
