Saw this post today and it just jumped right out at me. We have recently gone through a major remodel of our home and it took time, decisions, team work, trial and error, a lot of effort to get things right, and a lot of patience. It takes very similar efforts to establish a HOME OF GOSPEL LEARNING. Each day requires time, effort, decisions, discipline, trial and error, a lot of work and a lot of patience. But the process a family and individuals go through to create that type of Home is beautiful and refining. I pray my children will recognize today and also one day look back and feel that our Home was and is a place where the gospel of Jesus was focused on, practiced, taught and loved more than anything else.

“I promise that as you diligently work to remodel your home into a center of gospel learning, over time your Sabbath days will truly be a delight. Your children will be excited to learn and to live the Savior’s teachings, and the influence of the adversary in your life and in your home will decrease. Changes in your family will be dramatic and sustaining.”
