I am grateful for Priesthood I have had conferred upon me and the opportunity to bless my family with it. 

I love the tradition of giving my wife and children a priesthood blessing the Sunday before our children start a new year of school. 

Today as I laid my hands upon their heads I felt an overwhelming feeling of love for them myself as their father, but an even greater feeling of love for them from their Heavenly Father. I felt prompted to bless them each with individual blessings they would need personally throughout this year. What a great honor to be their father and to be a bearer of Gods Priesthood.
