“I am a beloved son of God, and He has a work for me to do.”

Today I was able to confer the priesthood upon my son Beckham and ordain him as a Deacon. I am thankful for these most sacred events in life, the spirit that we felt and the opportunity God has given Beckham to be a bearer of His Priesthood. I know that if used correctly, Beckham will find some of life’s happiest and most memorable experiences will come to him through his priesthood service. So grateful to have had both sets of grandparents there to support him.

Beckham is young but as Paul told Timothy in the Bible “let no man despise thy youth”. Our youth have great power and ability to shape a wonderful future, set a great example and triumph over evil. As hard as these days are and the trouble we face in this world. I have confidence that our youth can conquer!!!
