FATHER & SON TAG OUT!!! // “My father didn’t tell me how to LIVE; he LIVED, and let me LIVE life with him.” .

This hunt couldn’t have turned out any better for me and Beck. I had great hopes of Beckham getting his first big game animal, but didn’t expect that I would tag out with him just minutes after his awesome and perfectly placed shot. What an amazing experience to end such a great adventure. .

Hunting has a way of teaching valuable life lessons and I’m grateful that I can learn them with family by my side. This hunt taught us that at times things may not go as planned and pivots need to be made, greater distance needs to be traveled, patience needs to be practiced, trust needs to exist, faith needs to increase and  prayers need to become more earnest and sincere before many of the greatest blessings come to pass. .

We traveled hours and hours by air and car, over 800 miles into the interior of Alaska by boat. Slept in 7 different locations in 8 nights and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Beckham was such an stud and didn’t want it to end. For me the time with him was my greatest reward! .
