This past week I sat behind these binoculars much of the day trying to bring into view and to see closer that which was far away. As I sat behind the glass on the final night of my hunt my thoughts went from Elk, to a focus on things of eternal worth and things that matter most. I thought of family, my children and wife, my roles and responsibilities as their husband and father. I thought of my relationship with God and my Savior Jesus Christ and the questions that came to my mind on the mountain that night were these... Am I FOCUSING IN enough on things that matter most? Am I FOCUSED on doing things daily that will bring the most important aspects of life into VIEW and MAGNIFY their impact and importance? How often do I LOOK beyond the mark when what I should be FOCUSED on is simply right in front of me? Hunting has given me great opportunity to be taught by my Father in Heaven. Much of my learning does not come from the harvest of an animal, but in the journey and moments of simply sitting, listening and pondering on all that God is so willing to share with us as his Children when we are willing to focus on and recognize what truly matters most. | This is #howiconquer #mtnops #conquermore #conqueryourunknown 📷 daviddeaustin and luke.dusenbury #dudeops #diverge7
