there’s something about the friends you make at camp that are unlike anyone else you meet in your life. the speed in which you get close to someone, the shared experiences you pack into a condensed timeline, and the giggles that come with exhaustion. i was a summer camp kid growing up and i never really thought i’d get to go back…. garnierusa had other plans

this experience was so amazing for reasons i could go on and on about— the nature, the people, the achievement and meaning of it all. and because i could, i will. and you can’t stop me.

people start posting content for a bunch of reasons. for me it was about the pursuit of intimacy— growing closer in my personal relationships and showing more of myself as i discovered who that person was. the weird parasocial bit that comes along with that has its ups and downs lol, but what was an unexpected surprise in all that was finding people that believe in that vision as well and who support you in it. that’s what garnier has been for me over the last several years.

it’s rare to find people that 1) you like, 2) like you back, and 3) believe in what you’re doing and building. it’s not lost on me how lucky i am.

every single day of this week was another jaw-dropping, beautiful, stunning, gorgeous moment, and that was just looking at everyone else. yellowstone and jackson are unbelievable. taking this jaunt with the nationalparkfoundation was the best way to serve, to learn, and to appreciate building products with intention and consideration.

camp garnier was made to feel good— and im on top of the world 🤠
