There was already one dance I knew I had to try with Elli.

Kompa. 🌍✨

And after that dance, I thought, “Okay… now I need to see what happens when we put Bachata on.” 😏

Because Elli is one of those dancers who seems to speak every dance language. Kizomba, Urban Kiz, Kompa, Bachata… give her a rhythm and somehow she finds a way to make it feel natural.

But this time, we stayed in Bachata. ❤️‍🔥

And honestly, she surprised me all over again.

What I loved most wasn’t just the movement. It was how comfortable she felt in the music. The way she listens, responds, plays with the rhythm, and adds her own personality without ever forcing anything.

There were moments where I thought I was leading the dance…

and then she would give me that little musical response that made me think, “Okay Elli, I see what you’re doing.” 😂🔥

That’s the beauty of dancing with someone who really understands social dancing.

You don’t have to constantly think about the next move.

You can breathe.
Listen.
Play.
Pause.
Experiment.

And suddenly, the dance starts feeling less like a sequence of steps and more like a conversation.

With Bachata, that conversation can get a little dangerous too. 😏❤️‍🔥

Because when the music, connection, musicality and chemistry all line up, you stop thinking about whether you’re doing everything “right.”

You’re just there.

And that’s exactly how this dance felt.

After our Kompa experiment, I’m officially convinced that dancing with Elli comes with one problem…

Every time I dance with her, I want to try another style. 😂

But maybe that’s not such a bad problem to have. 😉

Huge respect to @moves_by_elli for the musicality, the versatility, the connection, and for making every dance feel like a completely new conversation.
