Want to land a job in sport? Apply for The SportsGrad Method Program: www.sportsgrad.com.au/program

Meet Nancy Alu.

Nancy is the Pathways & Performance Administrator at Queensland Rugby League, looking after everything off the field for Queensland's representative programs, from travel and accommodation to packing the Maroons' kit on camp entry day.

Before sport, she spent five years in hospitality, then worked in concierge and member events roles, while volunteering for eight years running logistics for church youth camps and conferences. That volunteering ended up being one of the things that stood out on her resume.

Lots to look out for including how to get your first job in sports operations, how to break the rejection loop when applying for jobs in sport, how to match experience from outside sport to a position description, and how she keeps growing in the role by always having questions ready for her manager.
