It’s not about how many balls you hit, but how effectively you use your time on court. Here’s how I’d structure a productive lesson 👇

⏱ 0–10 MIN | Warm-Up
Start with dynamic movements, mini tennis, and baseline rallies. Focus on timing, coordination, and finding your rhythm.

⏱ 10–25 MIN | Technique
Choose 1–2 technical elements to improve. Focus on proper mechanics, corrections, and quality repetitions. Remember, correct repetition builds good habits!

⏱ 25–40 MIN | Drills & Movement
Practice consistency, directional control, depth, footwork, and recovery. Gradually increase intensity to simulate realistic situations.

⏱ 40–50 MIN | Serve & Return
Work on placement, consistency, first and second serves, and returns. Every point starts with these shots, so don’t neglect them!

⏱ 50–58 MIN | Point Play
Apply everything you’ve practiced through competitive points. Focus on shot selection, strategy, and execution under pressure.

⏱ 58–60 MIN | Review
Identify what improved, what needs attention, and what to focus on next time.

💡 My advice after years of coaching:

✅ Quality over quantity.
✅ Consistency before power.
✅ Practice with a specific goal.
✅ Don’t confuse exhaustion with improvement.
✅ Sometimes fixing ONE thing is more valuable than practicing everything.

Of course, every lesson should be adjusted to the player’s level, goals, and individual needs.

The best lesson isn’t the one where you hit the most balls. It’s the one where you make the most progress. 🏆

🎾 Players, how does your coach structure your lessons?

🏆 Coaches, would you change anything?
