My wife didn’t sign up to be a married single mother.

If she wanted to carry the physical, mental and emotional weight of life alone… she could’ve done that by herself. 

And truthfully… I could’ve stayed running around if being a husband and father wasn’t what I truly wanted.

But I prayed for this. I prayed for a wife. I prayed for a family. I prayed for the life I’m living now. God kept His promise to me when He gave me her… so I intend to spend my life keeping the promises I made when I prayed for her. She shouldn’t have to beg me to be present in a life I asked God to bless me with.

I’m not sure what marriage is to you but that’s marriage to me 🤎🙏🏾
