🚀 What if the next great sporting competition wasn't on Earth?

On the next episode of Stadium BS, I sit down with Philip Hover-Smoot, founder of the Atlas Cup, to discuss one of the most ambitious concepts in sports today: competitive satellite racing in low Earth orbit.

The Atlas Cup aims to transform existing space technology into a new form of professional competition, where uncrewed satellites perform complex orbital maneuvers to compete for prizes, sponsorships, and ultimately the attention of sports fans around the world.

We discuss:

🛰️ How orbital racing would actually work

💰 The business model behind the Atlas Cup

⚖️ Safety, regulation, and sustainability in space

📱 Why the future audience may be found on social media first

🌎 The growing commercialization of space

👨‍🚀 Whether human racing in space could become reality in the coming decades

We also cover recent developments involving the Greenville Triumph and the Chicago Bears.

Whether you're interested in sports business, innovation, entrepreneurship, or the future of the space economy, this conversation offers a fascinating look at a concept that could redefine what we consider a sporting event.

Episode coming soon on Stadium BS.
