CALL UP VIDEOS 🥹 Junior Caminero had one of the most memorable call-up moments when he found out he was headed to the Major Leagues right in the clubhouse. After Double-A Montgomery’s season ended, Caminero was stunned when manager Morgan Ensberg delivered the news, with video capturing the 20-year-old celebrating with his teammates. Caminero had been preparing to head home to the Dominican Republic, but everything changed when the Rays called. He admitted he was shocked and nearly lost his breath when he realized he was officially going to the big leagues. Since making his MLB debut on September 23, 2023, Caminero has developed into one of baseball’s most dangerous young power hitters. After hitting .248 with six home runs as a rookie in 2024, he broke out with 45 homers and 110 RBI in 2025 before following it up with 42 home runs, 101 RBI and a .276/.360/.524 slash line in 2026. Through the 2026 regular season, Caminero has 94 career home runs, 236 RBI and a .267/.331/.513 slash line, establishing himself as a centerpiece of the Rays’ lineup at just 23 years old. #tbrays #baseball #mlb
