Whoooo’s ready for a little FSU history? 🦉

Owls hold a special place in Florida State University’s past and present.

When West Florida Seminary was founded in 1851, the owl was chosen as its symbol. Later, in 1901, when the school became Florida State College, a new seal was created featuring an owl flanked by two torches to represent wisdom, knowledge and learning.

Fast forward to today and owls are still hiding in plain sight across campus! Swipe through to see if you recognize where they all are. #FSU175
