Last night, Tyler Perry and I took the stage for Building an Empire on Ownership. Tyler spoke about the pain so many in that room have held, and what it can become: people exchanging the currency of pain for power.

Good Soil Forum is practical by design. You leave with a 90-day plan you can start on Monday. But a plan can’t carry you through the hard days.

So Tyler asked the room a simple question: What if you went through all of that and never got to the other side?

Don’t walk through that much hell and then stop before you see what’s waiting there. The size of the blessing matches the size of the pain.

If you came in carrying something heavy, hear this plainly: it was not for nothing. Keep going.

Don’t stop until you get to the other side of it. 🙏🏾

Good Soil Forum 2026, presented by Wells Fargo. October 8–10, Irving Convention Center, Dallas.
