More than a decade later, the actor is still chasing one thing: surprising his father with his work. “There’s still a child in me who wants to surprise my father with my work,” he says. His performance in Border 2 did just that, earning David Dhawan’s approval and proving that stepping outside his comfort zone can be worth it.
