After taking a much-needed 3-week break from YouTube and content creation, I'm finally back, and there's a lot to catch up on!

In today's vlog, I'm opening up about the negativity, judgment, and hurtful comments I've been receiving on social media, especially as a medical student and content creator. I'm sharing my HOT TAKE on medical professionals and social media, the unrealistic expectations placed on future doctors, and why I believe pursuing medicine shouldn't mean sacrificing your individuality or interests outside of healthcare.

But social media negativity wasn't the only reason I stepped away.

Between dealing with personal issues behind the scenes, getting sick, studying for medical school exams, and balancing work at Sephora, life has been overwhelming lately. Sometimes, stepping away is necessary to prioritize your mental and physical well-being.

As someone who has been transparent about the challenges of my medical school journey, I've learned that vulnerability can invite both support and criticism. But being a future physician doesn't mean I'm not human, and it certainly doesn't mean I have to fit into someone else's expectations of what a medical professional should be.

Of course, I'm also bringing you along for another realistic day in my life as a medical student, Sephora employee, and content creator! 💕
