Lately, I’ve honestly been enjoying AI effect tools most when they don’t force a fixed look on me, but instead help me build the exact effect I actually imagined.

An effect like this can look complicated because there are so many small things happening at once: highlights, trails, timing, direction, blend. But once the base is built, the fun part is actually deciding how subtle, sharp, glitchy, or bold you want it to feel.

That’s where AI honestly made the biggest difference for me here. I could just describe the effect I wanted, see it built directly on my footage, then jump back in and adjust the parts that mattered instead of spending hours building it manually from scratch.

For me, that’s probably the best use of AI in effects right now: less time building from scratch, more time actually shaping the look.
