In recognition of their achievement, we’d like to acknowledge the Raven Run Nature Sanctuary in Lexington, Kentucky, for their commitment to bird safety!

Raven Run is a unique 734-acre nature sanctuary dedicated to preserving the natural beauty, history, and environment of the Kentucky River Palisades.

After noticing multiple bird-glass strikes, followed by dead birds beneath their windows, Raven Run made it their mission to protect the lives of the feathered friends who inhabit and migrate to the land.

To that end, coolvusolutions installers placed Feather Friendly® Bird Collision Deterrent Markers on commonly struck facades. Since installation, Raven Run has reported ZERO bird strikes on treated windows and plans to treat additional windows where strikes persist.

As many school groups visit the sanctuary, Raven Run is also proud to educate them about the necessity of treatment, fostering an environment that promotes wildlife safety and knowledge.

We’d also like to recognize Ronan O’Carra, Central KY Audubon, and for their support and involvement in the process, contributing to a safer world for our birds.

We are beyond impressed and grateful for Raven Run’s contribution to bird safety. With accomplishments like these, millions of birds are saved every day.
