Last night, we had our team dinner for our Bank of America Chicago Marathon runners. Each year, I am so inspired and humbled by Team Roo. We have hit $100,000 in fundraising, which will continue to grow. That will help SO MANY ANIMALS. Our captain Tony Konidaris gave a moving speech and I was able to meet people and hear their why. We pick our Marathon team very carefully and make sure that they believe and understand our mission and that they are running with a purpose. Our team will be running with a heavy heart and a reason to keep going when it gets tough. It means so much to us to have them as Roo Family, forever. Team Roo-thank you. Thank you to everyone that has donated to these wonderful humans, who are so inspiring. I spend a lot of Sunday with tears in my eyes, watching people live out a dream. It is one of my favorite days of the year. Letsgooooooooo. #teamroo #chicagomarathon #chicago #livelikeroo #fyp
