SR 54 used to be an old country back road but has quickly become a congested pain in the ass.

Although the county just completed widening parts of the road, it didn’t seem to do much. 

As more people are drawn to Land O’ Lakes and Odessa for their suburban charm, schools, and access to outdoor activities, the population increase naturally leads to more cars on the road.

As development continues, there are ongoing plans and projects aimed at expanding and improving the roads, which will eventually ease traffic congestion and enhance connectivity.

The boom along SR 54 is boosting the local economy, providing more job opportunities, and increasing property values, making it a great place to live and invest.

Despite the traffic, I still love where I live and wouldn’t change it!
