1. Do Florida homes have heat? I’m sure there are some that don’t but for the most part, yes we have heat. It can reach below freezing here, it’s not always as hot as the depths of Hell. Our winter weather is beautiful, I don’t know why people visit during summer 😂

2. Why is everyone moving to Florida? Yes, we have Florida man, yes we have gators, yes Tampa’s infrastructure wasn’t built to withstand such a massive intake of people at one time. During Covid, everyone worked from home, and for some people, they stayed working remote. They figured “if I can work from home I may as well work from Florida away from the snow.” Florida real estate was relatively “cheap” back then, especially compared to some of the states people came from. People want sunshine and the beach, that’s just how it works.

3. Why do Floridians hate snowbirds? Hate is a strong word.. it’s easy to be annoyed by those who are vacationing here because they aren’t in a rush. There’s no sense of urgency. That’s how life is when you live in a place where people live six months out of the year 🤷‍♀️
