Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says a supertanker attempting to leave the Strait of Hormuz via an unauthorized route caught fire after hitting naval mines. The statement follows a separate claim that Iranian forces struck a liquefied petroleum gas carrier. Tehran warned that vessels using unauthorized routes would face punishment, blaming the US military for rising maritime tensions. #Iran #StraitOfHormuz #IRGC #OilTanker #MiddleEast
