## Caption

In honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day, we pause to acknowledge the legacy of the Susquehannock people — upon whose ancestral lands Susquehanna University now sits.

Susquehanna has established a physical location, the Susquehannock Tribute Circle, that honors the original homeland of the Susquehannock tribe, commonly known as the river people because they lived in unanimity and balance with the river and land.
