✨ Why Do We Remember Some Experiences and Forget Others?

Today, I learned something interesting about how our memory works. 💭

Have you ever wondered why we remember a small moment from years ago but forget something that happened yesterday?

As I’m learning, I’m beginning to understand that memory isn’t like a perfect video recording.

What we pay attention to, how meaningful an experience feels, and how often we revisit it can influence what we remember.

💜 My takeaway:

Not every moment stays in our memory, but some experiences leave a lasting impression.

And here’s a thought I want to share:

🌸 When we give without expecting anything in return, we practise kindness. Sometimes, the happiness of giving is its own reward.

I’m still learning, observing, and trying to understand human behaviour one day at a time.
