Canadian Sailing Team member Peter Eagar was the best Canadian amongst the 11 in action at the World Sailing Inclusion Championships, held October 5-10 in Portimão, Portugal, with a 5th position out of 14 boats in the Para Inclusive One Person Technical Championship. 

In the Visually Impaired (with sighted crew) Fleet Racing World Championship, Canada was represented by two teams and Ginny Duff, Rhys Cashin, David Brown and Paris Sasarman was the best one with an 8th position overall out of 11 boats. The team of Chris Jonas, Gary Butler, Theodore Weber and Brian Arthur took the 9th position.

Finally, in the Para Inclusive Two Person Keelboat World Championship, the team of Tracy Schmitt and Igor Momot finished in 26th position out of 28 boats.

Le membre de l’équipe canadienne de voile Peter Eagar a été le meilleur Canadien parmi les 11 qui ont participé aux Championnats du monde de voile inclusive, qui se sont déroulés du 5 au 10 octobre à Portimão, au Portugal. Il a terminé 5e sur 14 bateaux au Championnat technique para-inclusif en solitaire.

Dans le cadre du Championnat du monde de course en flotte pour les personnes ayant une déficience visuelle (avec équipage voyant), le Canada était représenté par deux équipes. Celle composée de Ginny Duff, Rhys Cashin, David Brown et Paris Sasarman a obtenu le meilleur résultat, se classant 8e au classement général sur 11 bateaux. L’équipe formée de Chris Jonas, Gary Butler, Theodore Weber et Brian Arthur a quant à elle terminé au 9e rang.

Enfin, au Championnat du monde para-inclusif de voile en double sur quillard, l’équipe composée de Tracy Schmitt et d’Igor Momot a terminé 26e sur 28 bateaux.
