On stage at EADV in Vienna with skinceuticals, presenting the clinical data behind P-TIOX Cream.

The reframe I shared: in mature skin, pores can enlarge, elongate, and connect until they begin to read as fine lines. In that context, pore correction becomes part of wrinkle correction.

What mattered most to me was the study design. The 12-week trial included all six Fitzpatrick skin types, with over one-third African-American subjects and half of participants reporting sensitive skin. That is what trial inclusion should look like, and it means I counsel my patients with deeper skin tones from data rather than extrapolation.
