🏁❤️ Just 11 years old, Brexton Busch climbed behind the wheel of his late father Kyle Busch’s No. 8 NASCAR Cup Series Chevrolet and performed an unforgettable burnout at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

On October 9, 2026, more than 10,000 fans gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, who tragically passed away in May at just 41 years old.

Brexton fired up his father’s blue-and-white Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and unleashed a massive burnout, filling the track with tire smoke until the rear tires went flat.

The car carried the iconic Lucas Oil livery associated with Kyle’s first victory for Richard Childress Racing at Fontana in 2023.

After the smoke cleared, Brexton climbed onto the roof, received a checkered flag from his four-year-old sister Lennix, and recreated his father’s legendary victory bow.

Kyle Busch finished his remarkable career with 63 Cup Series victories and a record 234 wins across NASCAR’s three national series.

Richard Childress Racing has also reserved the legendary No. 8 for Brexton, leaving open the possibility of seeing another Busch behind the wheel someday.

With thousands of fans watching, the emotional tribute became a powerful reminder that Kyle’s racing legacy will live on through the next generation.

Could Brexton Busch eventually follow in his father’s footsteps and become a NASCAR Cup Series champion? 🏆
